Capital Electrical Contractors Ltd is seeking an experienced site electrician to carry out electrical installations on a new build residential development in East London. The successful candidate will be a qualified and reliable tradesperson with a strong background in new build electrical work.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out electrical installations to a high standard throughout the project
• Installing cable runs, back boxes, sockets, switches and light fittings
• Carrying out electrical testing and inspection in line with 18th Edition wiring regulations
• Reading and working from electrical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all works comply with BS 7671 and site health and safety regulations
• Liaising with the site manager and wider trades team throughout the project

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of electrical installation experience
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Valid CSCS gold card
• Own tools
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently on site
• Full UK driving licence preferred
