We are looking for an experienced site carpenter to join our team on a residential new build development in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out first and second fix carpentry work to a high standard throughout the duration of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out first fix carpentry including timber framing, stud walling and floor joists
• Second fix carpentry including fitting skirting boards, door frames, architraves and staircases
• Reading and interpreting site plans and drawings accurately
• Working safely in accordance with site health and safety regulations
• Liaising with the site manager and wider trades team to meet project deadlines
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard of quality and finish

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of site carpentry experience
• Valid CSCS card
• City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in Wood Occupations or equivalent
• Own tools
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred
